Strawberries

Starting in early June, we have our first PYO crop of the year: Strawberries! Our very first crop way back when we started in 1983, customers have been coming out for years for our strawberries. As juicy as they are delicious, you won't be able to stop picking.

We provide a 4-quart basket for picking; call for current pricing.

Look for strawberries around the first or second week of June!

Raspberries

Starting in early July, raspberries offer one of the summer's most fleeting treats, as the season is only about two weeks long.

We provide quarts for picking; if you bring your own container, it must be weighed at the market prior to picking. Call for current price per pound.

Black-Currants-400.jpg

Currants

Originally a European fruit, currants are filled with antioxidants and vitamin C. They are a tangy-sweet type of fruit suitable for jams, jellies, and pies mostly (although many like them raw, also!)

We offer Red and Black varieties, available around the first two weeks of July.

Gorgeous juicy blackberries usually start picking early-August and will pick through early September.

Tomatoes

We believe there isn't anything like a fresh, juicy, homegrown tomato and we think you'll agree. We only grow two different types for pick-your-own, but they are exceptional varieties in flavor and texture: our classic red-round beefsteak type, and our Italian Roma (makes the greatest sauce). Is it summer, or is it heaven? We'll let you decide.

Tomatoes are available from early August until mid-September.

Customers are required to pick in our 1/2 bushel container and may transfer to their own containers after payment. Call for current pricing.

Peppers

Starting in late July, we offer a variety of peppers to pick, including: green bells, light yellow (white) bells, sweet bananas, Italian horns, hot bananas, semi-hots, poblanos, jalapeños, and cherry-hots. Ripe bell peppers (red) are a little later, usually not picking until early September.

Peppers will be open for picking until the first frost of the fall, usually late October.

Dates (always) subject to change, depending on weather and a lot of other things that make farming difficult.
