First of all, what is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A program where the community members can support local farmers by purchasing a set amount of farm fresh produce in advance of the growing season and in return receive a weekly box of in season produce at predetermined locations. All the produce is picked fresh and packed the same day to get you the best possible quality.

Summer CSA (16 weeks May- September)

Our summer CSA program involves 16 weeks starting in the middle of May and going until the beginning of September. Program members will get one bag of fresh produce per week dropped off at a location near you (more on locations in a second!).

During our summer session, members have the option of our family size bag or our individual size bag. Your Summer CSA bag will be full of fresh fruit and veggies including produce like strawberries in June, delicious watermelons in August, and many other items including peaches, cantaloupes, blueberries, zucchinis, tomatoes, and peppers. We mix up the items in your bag week by week, depending on what's in season.

Fall CSA (12 weeks Sept - November)

Thanksgiving Box (pick-up 2 days before Thanksgiving)

Christmas Box (pick-up 2 days before Christmas Day)

For our fall session, we offer a "one-size-fits-all" bag ($25 value/bag). Starting in the middle of September and running through the week before Thanksgiving, our Fall CSA program is 11 weeks with the option for an additional week: Thanksgiving week. Our fall CSA bag will include items like apples, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale, lettuce, spinach, potatoes, and many other things that are in season at the time.

Then, for Thanksgiving week, we offer you our Thanksgiving box ($69 value) that has everything you need for your Thanksgiving dinner except for the turkey including: potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, onions, a 1/2 gallon of fresh pressed cider, and a delicious, homemade pie (apple or pumpkin). 

Our Christmas box includes Ohio maple syrup and fresh veggies from the farm. It is a $60 value.

If you select Fall CSA from our store, you will receive only the 12 weeks without the Thanksgiving box, so if you would like both, make sure you select both the Fall CSA and the Thanksgiving box from the CSA purchase page.

Winter CSA- Rainbow Farms will not be offering a winter CSA in 2026.

Spring CSA- Rainbow Farms will not be offering a Spring CSA in 2026.
